True Lambswool Shooting Shirt
Country Bon Vivant
Crit Rawlings is a master clothier based in Midway, a rural town nestled among the Bourbon distilleries and horse farms of central Kentucky. His shop in front of the railroad tracks is a hidden destination for horse owners and country bon vivants.
Since we launched our campaign to breed the first crowdsourced racehorse, Crit has become a dear friend of True.Ink, teaching us the finer points on how to travel and working with us on creating a limited edition shooting jacket. Here’s how he describes it, in his southern patois.
“The best part of this coat is obviously the hunting flaps in the back. Good for stuffing a game bird or a flask of Bourbon.
“The fabric also has what we call “good hand” in the industry. It just feels so good. It’s Italian lambswool I found out of a mill in the north, but it's light to the touch. And we make it here in Kentucky."
The shooting shirt comes in three colors—Heather, Plaid and Charcoal. Buttons are horn.
